EAST OF OTLEY IN THE NEWS

Our campaign has been supported by our local paper, the Wharfedale Observer, with several front-page features most recently in January 2022. The Irish Fields and the streams and hedgerows around the East of Otley site have also been celebrated in The Guardian's Country Diary by local writer, Carey Davies.

FUNDRAISING

In order to ensure that we can present the strongest case to influence decisions, and recognising the financial strength of the development consortium, we felt it imperative to take some initial legal advice.
The cost of exploratory advice is in the region of £3,000 and we have already hit that target - thank you for all your donations to date!

We have started to brief lawyers and believe it is highly likely that more funds will be needed for both legal and other professional advice. We will revise our target and keep you updated as we learn more.
